Boutique guesthouse with rooftop airstream caravans in Bristol's Old Town
Brooks Guesthouse Bristol has a 24-hour front desk with daily reception hours and after-hours assistance available. The property offers secure bike storage for guests arriving by bicycle. An honesty bar in the lounge provides West Country ales, cider, light snacks, and fresh coffees for relaxed socializing.
Four vintage airstream caravans sit on the rooftop, each offering a glamping alternative to standard bedrooms with views over the Bristol skyline. Standard rooms feature designer bathrooms with power showers, Egyptian cotton sheets, and flat-screen TVs with DVD players. The guesthouse also has a lift, allergy-free room options, and family rooms that accommodate groups.
The open-plan breakfast room serves a cooked-to-order breakfast using free-range local produce, with options such as full English, poached eggs on muffin, and homemade granola. Guests can enjoy fresh coffee and local yogurt with fruit compote while watching the meal being prepared. The honesty bar also stocks a selection of special diet menus, including vegan options, and wine or champagne can be ordered.
The guesthouse is a 2-minute walk from the O2 Arena and the Bristol Hippodrome, making it convenient for concert and theatre visitors. St Nicholas Market, offering exotic food stalls, is next door, and Cabot Circus shopping centre is within a 10-minute walk. Bristol Harbourside and the Old Town's historic streets are steps away, providing easy access to cultural exploration.
A garden courtyard with outdoor furniture offers a quiet spot for drinks or relaxation away from the street. The shared lounge and TV area with cozy furnishings provides an indoor social space for guests. The rooftop terrace, adjacent to the caravans, allows guests to enjoy the skyline in a private setting.
